Production Line Worker

This job will be located in Las Vegas, NV.

We are looking for a self-starting, Production Line Worker in our Las Vegas, NV location. The shift for this position will be M-F 6-2:30pm with most major holidays off.

Summary/Objective

The line worker performs repetitive work-station or line-assembly operations to mass-produce components or to assemble those components into a completed product by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Packaging and palletizing in a fast paced environment.
  • Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or required tools/equipment.
  • Operates any equipment needed to perform job.
  • Clean production equipment and production room according to cGMP and company guidelines.
  • Ensure that all components used are correct, lot numbers and quantities recorded, and label components appropriately after use.
  • Ensure all related production paperwork and equipment use and cleaning logs are filled out completely and accurately.
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of the materials and finished product.
  • Cross train with other position and production areas to assist in completing production.
  • Perform minor preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Follow company policies, cGMP's and Standard Operating Procedures.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear.

The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous food or dietary supplement manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of GMP guidelines
