General Duties:

The Quality Assurance Manager holds accountability for the comprehensive quality control of products manufactured within Unicity International's facilities. This role involves overseeing the implementation of established procedures to guarantee compliance with prevailing Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), product standards, and regulations concerning food safety and employee well-being. Duties encompass the examination of logs and forms, scrutiny of blending and production batch records, provision of guidance, mentoring, and training, as well as enforcement of adherence to policies and standard operating procedures. Collaborating closely with counterparts at each manufacturing site is integral to the Quality Assurance Manager's responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • 5 – 10 years of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience in Nutritional Supplements and or Food Product Manufacturing environment or similar experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of FDA regulations and current good manufacturing practices for dietary supplements, particularly 21 CFR parts 111 and 117
  • Knowledge of quality systems including specifications, standard operating procedures (SOP), non-conformance reports and deviations
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Auditing experience preferred
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Attention to detail
