Production Line Lead

This job will be located in Las Vegas, NV and will be 2nd shift (2:30p-11p).

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Line Lead is responsible for overseeing the production Line Process, ensuring that all steps are completed correctly and in a timely manner, while also ensuring that workers stay safe and follow proper procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensuring that production goals are met by monitoring equipment performance and employee output
  • Provide training to team members to complete job functions.
  • Completes all documentation accurately and timely.
  • Responsible for producing quality finished goods, identifying and eliminating non-conforming product.
  • Ensuring that all components used are correct for each run, correctly documenting lot numbers and quantities.
  • Adjust machinery when necessary to improve performance
  • Perform quality control checks, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor.
  • Complete required tasks related to the operation of the assigned manufacturing area
  • Follow company policies, cGMP’s and standard operating procedures.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous machine operating experience in a Manufacturing facility is a Plus
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Understanding of Production and Manufacturing
  • Knowledge of local safety and health requirements
  • Strong understanding of cGMPs.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Good communication and math skills.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Ability to lead and train team members

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak, write and understand effectively in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

REASONING ABILITY

Must be able to prioritize projects and recognize deficiencies in paperwork. Decision making abilities required. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands or fingers to handle or feel or reach. May be required to walk and stoop, kneel, or crouch, talk or hear. Occasionally required to sit or climb. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or may require lifting, pulling or pushing of up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
